History

Located in one of Jersey’s most beautiful valleys, Le Moulin de Quetivel is the only surviving working water mill in the Island. The first recorded watermill on the site was the property of the British Royal Family in 1309 and during the following centuries the mill changed hands and was rebuilt several times. The mill stopped working at the beginning of the 20th century, only briefly being brought back into use during the German Occupation.
